Get Free Tickets To Glastonbury By Registering To Vote

Don’t miss the deadline to register to vote.

A general election has officially been called (or Genny Lec as we’re apparently calling it) for the 4th of July 2024. While the UK is due a general election as the last one was nearly 5 years ago in 2019, the announcement that it would be happening so soon was definitely unexpected which doesn’t give us a lot of time to get prepared.

How can I get free Glastonbury tickets?

When it comes to voting, old people tend to lead the way whereas a lot of young people may accidentally forget to register to vote or just miss the deadlines. As students, this can be even more confusing with a summer election as many of you will be at home and not at your uni address or might have already booked a holiday for the 4th of July.

There’s no excuse for not voting though, as you can apply for a postal vote or vote by proxy if you can’t make it in person and as a student you can register to vote at more than one address. Plus, we’ve already broken down everything you need to know about registering to vote and the deadlines in our handy guide.

However, still a lot of young people don’t register to vote.

Well, Just Vote are campaigning to change that and get as many young people as possible registered to vote before the deadline. The Crash The Party campaign has been launched as a way to encourage young people to register by offering the chance to win free tickets to Glastonbury 2024.

Yep if you register to vote and sign up for the Just Vote Crash The Party campaign you could win 2 tickets to the biggest festival of 2024.

All you have to do is:

  1. REGISTER TO VOTE– on the Government website by the 18th of June 2024
  2. Sign up for the Crash The Party festival ballot to be in with the chance of winning 2 Glastonbury tickets

If you’ve already registered to vote, you can still sign up for the free tickets ballot so you haven’t missed out. The lucky winner will have to prove that they have registered to vote but the competition is open to anyone over the age of 18.

You need to be quick though as the deadline to vote closes on the 14th of June 2024 at 12pm— so you need to be super quick at singing up if you want to win the tickets.

However, regardless of the tickets remember that registering to vote is the most important thing so take this as your sign to register to vote before your forget. Even if you do miss out on entering the free tickets ballot, voting is more important so make sure you’ve registered and have checked out all the deadlines before it’s too late.
